After reading the endless praise i finally decided to ger Suikoden 2
Suikoden II is genuinely one of the best games I have ever played. I strongly recommend playing the original Suikoden ahead of time, it's cheap and fun in its own way.

Story is kinda of meh, I really like the junction system (even though you basically have to try to not be overpowered), and I love every single character (except Irvine). Quistis and Rinoa

Warning: there is a No Point of Return in VIII at the end of Disc 3 that they don't really warn you of. I don't want to spoil soooooo I'll try to be vague. Make sure to save before the fight against Seifer. You'll know when it will be.
You should try to get all the GFs. They are all sorts of awesome and their animations are gorgeous. There's also a lot of random beautiful places - Winhill, the Trabia Tribe, the abandoned Science Facility, Odin's Tower, etc.

Tyyy I knew disc 4 was basically just one final dungeon, but I didn't know you couldn't go all the way back.
I'll def. get all the GFs, I remember hating getting Doomtrain though.
A friendly reminder to everyone for FF8,don't over level during the beginning the game or else the enemies will level up too making battles harder. And fight

early on, the higher his level„ the harder it is to get him beaten.
