There are a lot more Christians telling people to repent and believe and Mormon missionaries knocking on doors with propaganda leaflets than atheists shouting at theists and telling them they're wrong.

Most atheists will not act aggressively. Not many people are just going to straight up tell you you're wrong. Personally, I always try to understand why someone believes something before accusing them of being wrong when it comes to the issue of theism. Sometimes people have a discussion with one of these people and come off with a bad impression of all atheists, and that's a shame.

Imagine God is real and true, there is life after death and you can live forever, there is a being you can come to with anything at anytime to help, heal and guide you literally the worst most selfish thing you could do is not share that with other people

How many times have you been approached in the street by an atheist trying to get you not to believe in god? or had atheists knock on your door to tell you about the non-existence of god?

It is religious people who travel all over the world to try and convert people, it is religious people who try to use their belief in god to affect laws, it is religious people who blow up other people for not believing in their brand of religion.

Not really, but I'm starting to branch off from religion because people use it to hate, even though they're no better.

I think religious people and Atheists should both stop trying to shove their beliefs down each other's throats.

I have struggles with the existence of God. I was raised Catholic but felt nothing when I went to church every Sunday. I feel nothing when I try to pray. And I look at all of the heinous, disgusting things that go around in the world and ask why would God let such things happen? It's selfish to personally think what God would do to help me when I pray, he/she should be helping the unfortunate and innocent people who are so poor, getting murdered, abused etc. I don't know. It's a constant struggle for me to believe in a God or not. I'm waiting for something good to miraculously happen for me to believe but nothing has happened.

Atheist since the day I was born here! Mostly because my whole family is atheistic.

It's funny, I come from one of the most atheistic countries in the world, yet I've had so many arguments about religion... I respect other people's beliefs and I never start discussions about religion, but if a religious person tries to give me **** for not believing in God, then I lose it and start to be a real bitch.

I find it annoying when some theists pull the "respect my beliefs" card to silence any debate on religion whatsoever.
