Became somewhat relevant in
Wyoming in 1960, then moved down to
New Mexico and became quite popular, then
extremely popular in NM in the mid-80s, also began to spread to every other state. Became popular (orange) in
every southern state, plus a majority of the north east. Then it was orange/popular pretty much every at the turn of the millennium, then dwindled and is back to being a
mostly southern-west name, with the exception of
New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, where it's still at a peak. As of right now, it's ranked as the 19th most popular female name.
Good to know.
