I think it's likely given that Blank Space sold 328,000 the week when the video was released (and that song was already attached to an album that had already sold over 1.5 million copies by then).
The Bad Blood remix single will be brand new to the GP, so that will give people the opportunity to purchase the new, standalone single + buy the original (if they want). It's a great marketing strategy.
