Poison Ivy is not in the Suicide Squad film because her and Harley were never on the Squad at the same time.
Anyway, I don't really care about Batgirl but Ivy is very underrated. One of my favorite female DC characters. I hope they do eventually make a film that includes her.
Uma slayed Poison Ivy, although it was slightly over the top. But then again, so was that whole movie, so I don't think Uma can be blamed here. IIRC her performance was the only thing praised about this film, everything else was dragged to the pits of purgatory.
