The ratings will be messy

Katy is ready for that Best Music Film Grammy for the PWT.

It was in February this year... and won't be on again until February of next year. That's a whole year.

Madonna won her first-ever Grammy award in that category for her tour DVD. Am I sensing a pattern here?

Changing the day of broadcasting is NOT the solution.

They need to change the eligibility period, that's why their ratings are flopping. NOBODY is her for 9-month old albums winning awards and 6-month old songs being performed for the 100th time.

This is a mess.

The problem with the show is that there is WAY too many performances (especially collaborative performances that are pointless) and not enough interesting awards presented on television. Finding out who's going to win is supposed to be the most exciting part of the show.

Not to mention, these shows are TOO long. It's the same problem with the Oscars.

Less performances, less commercials, and more awards would be more helpful to boost the ratings but at least they are trying

3.5 Hours

They are making the show way too long and over-saturating the amount of performances.

They would be smart to focus on more awards, bring back the small categories (Dance, Country, R&B, Rap).

Monday?

If you want to raise the ratings just shorten the show (and get rid off the totaly alternative categories)

Actually quite less seeing as the new street release date for albums will be on Fridays. Sunday is closer to Friday.

Why though?

Why? Awards shows are always on Sundays. Who's gonna care to watch this on a Monday? lol

Grammy 2014 was in January, this year ceremony was in Feb.
