A power ballad sounds good, Katy showcased on "Firework" how powerful her vocals can be if she pushes herself and "Unconditionally" further proved that.
Gaga also has some nice acoustic/live performances that show her range.
I don't think Katy could vocally keep up with Gaga on a power ballad. Live it would be a disaster for her. I agree with the idea of maybe a photoshoot or something.
