I'm in no way saying she should just contribute her vocals to tracks and nothing else, I just think that sometimes her "artistsic decisions" don't always turn out...the best? The trainwreck with Jospeh Kahn and TEOG video is a perfect example for what I'm trying to say.

That's actually a bad example.

All Gaga wanted to do differently from Kahn's vision was include Clarence Clemons in the video as opposed to a "hot male model". Kahn didn't like that, and the people Gaga works with also have to sacrifice and compromise. Kahn's tweets after the debacle about things being "his way or the highway" proved that he was the issue more than Gaga as Gaga has never had an issue with a director before.

That's how we ended up with Jewels N Drugs & Cake Like Lady Gaga.
An example of Gaga letting a producer do it completely their way & taking the back seat to sing would be Donatella or Stache. Not exactly fan favourites.

I'd actually switch these around. I'm pretty sure The more urban-influenced tracks on ARTPOP were DJWS' idea

:rip whereas the EDM tracks like 'Donatella' and 'Stache' were Gaga doing what she wanted with the productions. Remember, it was Gaga's decision to pick out pre-made tracks from Zedd and sing over them.
