This is so true. Sometimes I get my life from Jewels n' Drugs or Swine then sometimes to Bad Romance to Applause to Aura to Marry The Night to Dope. Her discography is just so diverse.

You have to admit that sometimes it's best for the artist to step back a bit and let people do their jobs. I just hope she doesn't get all possessive around someone like Moroder and can sit back and let a legend like him do his thing.

I guess I agree, but at the same time asking Gaga to step back and not be in control is kind of asking Gaga to stop being Gaga. Without Gaga's input, all her music would sound exactly like everything else her producers make. Gaga's say makes her music her music.

I think the best music happens when an artist and a producer/songwriter/etc. can form some sort of agreement.

I'm in no way saying she should just contribute her vocals to tracks and nothing else, I just think that sometimes her "artistsic decisions" don't always turn out...the best? The trainwreck with Jospeh Kahn and TEOG video is a perfect example for what I'm trying to say.

An example of Gaga letting a producer do it completely their way & taking the back seat to sing would be Donatella or Stache. Not exactly fan favourites.

That's actually a bad example. All Gaga wanted to do differently from Kahn's vision was include Clarence Clemons in the video as opposed to a "hot male model". Kahn didn't like that, and the people Gaga works with also have to sacrifice and compromise. Kahn's tweets after the debacle about things being "his way or the highway" proved that he was the issue more than Gaga as Gaga has never had an issue with a director before.

I'd actually switch these around. I'm pretty sure The more urban-influenced tracks on ARTPOP were DJWS' idea :rip whereas the EDM tracks like 'Donatella' and 'Stache' were Gaga doing what she wanted with the productions. Remember, it was Gaga's decision to pick out pre-made tracks from Zedd and sing over them.

Everyone wants her to be like during TF+M. She can't handle everything by herself, she needs to work with professionals, listen to them.

If Gagz will keep controlling and churning out another ARTPOPs, I'd rather her quit pop music and become a ful-time jazz singer

Kidding, I'm a monster so naturally I ask for at the very least an 8 year long radio deal, performances broadcast to every TV on every network around the world and a billboard projected onto Earth's atmosphere with from the International Space Station. But I also want another gym anthem.

Jewels N' Drugs instrumental SLAYS. Gaga is to blame for that one: her weak lyrics + renting the lamest rappers (besides TI) sunk that song.

She has a whole team around her that'd paid to guide her into the right direction. Sure they might have not had the best interests for ARTPOP, but it's more than just a slight exaggeration to assume she isn't working with or listening to the professionals she's working with.

The lyrics are pretty weak on Jewels N' Drugs, but at the same time the actual song isn't too bad. It just didn't need that many features.
