Breathe - Michelle Branch
First time I hear this song, it's kind of forgettable but it's easy to the ears.
Hypnotized - McFly
I've never heard of them before. Wouldn't be tempted to replay the song.
Why Do You Love Me - Garbage
Not my favourite of their '00s material, but it has it's fine moments. I particularly like the "I think you're sleeping with a friend of mine..." bit towards the end.
If I Ain't Got You - Alicia Keys
THE defining Alicia Keys song. Everything about fits so perfectly... the lyrics, the piano, the horns, the ardent vocal delivery, the backing vocals.. wow.
Santigold - L.E.S. Artistes
I remember being absolutely hooked on this song last summer.. brings back great memories. A really fine pop tune. Great video as well.
All The Things She Said - TATU
Ah, makes me think of my middle school days... not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
Mr. Brightside - The Killers
It's ok, but they have so many better songs than this.
Bust Ya Windows - Jazmine Sullivan
First time I hear of her. Talented vocalist but the song seems to be going all over the place - definitely too much wailing for my taste.
Nobody's Home - Avril Lavigne
Back when she (or the people behind her) managed to put out some decent tunes. Her best song, by far.
Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood
Sorry, not interested in replaying.

Woops.. I always forget that No Angel was released in 1999, but I feel like it's more like 2000's, anyway...
Michelle Branch: I'm really considering searching for more stuff of her... It's really softly her voice so yes very nice
McFly: Well,, I started to hate them since I heard Lies and I was hoping to give a second chance but they're so annoying and this song is absolutely boring even the harmonica makes more boring... So thanks for not make d/l this
Garbage: Really good song, thogh the best of them is in the 90's, this still is an stand in single of them
Alicia Keys: Simply one of my fav songs... Her voice is so amazing and the sounds is so emotional
Santigold: I still have labeled as Santogold... The whole song is so damn catchy but the video is that I definitely put into my favorites of last year... So damn crazy as the album.. Awesome
t.A.T.u. Well, I have to say that though it's one of their classics, all this controversy about it make me not like it that much... Still very good but they have many other better that they's would have released in US
The Killers: Along the best of them....
Jazmine Sullivan: It's a very fierce R&B masterpiece... Love it
Avril Lavigne: Yes!!! I really love this song, a classic Avril song.... If there could be songs like this in her next album, it would restore my love for her
Carrie Underwood: The first country song I've ever like...... Awesome

Michelle Branch, performing Breathe
Yes, a great song from her, this is one of my fav song by her.
McFly, performing Hypnotized (bear with me, okay?)
Okay song, not really a fan though.
Garbage, performing Why Do You Love Me
I do not like this song. Just cant get into this one.
Alicia Keys, performing If I Ain't Got You
Smooth, baby! this was my **** back then.
Santigold, performing L.E.S. Artistes
wow, im surprised this is actually good. though it was kinda weird at first.
TATU, performing All The Things She Said
BOMB! I was a big fan with their first album, and this song is just still addictive.
The Killers, performing Mr. Brightside
This was really great, one of my fav back then, but got sick of it.
Jazmine Sullivan, performing Bust Ya Windows
Very easy listening type of song and like it.
Avril Lavigne, performing Nobody's Home
one of avril's most powerful songs. good job.
Carrie Underwood, performing Before He Cheats
i wasnt a fan of this song, in fact, it was my least fav song on her first album, but when it got its release, it grew on me and i really love it <3

LMAO - I can't believe it's that time again!
Michelle Branch - Breathe
Did this have a special mix made for it's single release? Because, listening to it, six years since it's release ... it sounds a little anemic. Don't get me wrong - Michelle's in fine voice here, and and the chorus still packs a pretty significant punch, it's just that everything else falls short of what I had remembered. Oh well, a nice start to the week.
McFly - Hypnotized
yeah, no.
Garbage - Why Do You Love Me
Although this track feels curiously retrograde, akin to Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck Without You, meant to act as a mea culpa of sorts to "fans", and although it indulges in a lot of Garbage's worst traits (their tendency towards cool, slick efficiency over actual human feeling), it's a helluva lot better than the track preceding it. But it doesn't touch ...
Alicia Keys - If I Ain't Got You
... the track that follows it. Admittedly, this song doesn't have the same effect on me as it did when it was released, but I can't help but appreciate the sincerity of it - and how much of this homage to 70s Soul is done right.
Santigold - L.E.S. Artistes
Personal reflection time: I had been hearing a lot about this song around this same time last year, but I hadn't actually heard it. One day, going crosstown on 14th street, I caught the tailend of this song. I was instantly amazed at how succesfully it crossed genres, and created something unique. The full song is equally as impressive.
TATU - All The Things She Said
You know, as a gay man, I find this song terribly offensive. But as a lover of crass, exploitative lowest common denominator pop, I love it! Its funny that this and Breathe were released in the same year, as so much separates them ... yet, they have so much in common. They're so 2003!
The Killers - Mr. Brightside
Like much of the Killers' oeuvre, it tries to be an epic, and somewhat fails? Doesn't mean it isn't damn catchy.
Jazmine Sullivan - Bust Ya Windows
It's hilarious that this and Before He Cheats are playing in the same week, as they suffer from a lot of the same problems. This song is very nice, but I can't help but think what it could've been with a better editor (some of the lyrics are just bad) and, truthfully, someone with a bigger voice.
Avril Lavigne - Nobody's Home
Yeah, no again.
Carrie Underwood - Before He Cheats
For the first half of the song, it's country pop by numbers - all posture, no grit. The bridge, however, is the real turning point - as if our little robot has started to feel! And she gets PISSED. We're all the better for it.

Sorry, I know I'm kinda late with this. Busy week.
Breathe - This song is so simple yet so powerful, I can listen to it almost anytime I'm feeling down and feel a least a little better.
Hypnotized - I'm not a huge McFly fan, and this song gets old kind of fast.
Why Do You Love Me - I like the chorus a lot, but the verses kinda ruin it. Not my favorite, in terms of female-fronted bands.
If I Ain't Got You - I used to like this song. But it's just so boring and meaningless to me now.
L.E.S. Artistes - Someone recommended this to me a while ago and I wouldn't think that I'd like it but I was wrong. Very infectious.
All The Things She Said - Loved this since first listen.
Mr. Brightside - I think this was the Killer's best era. They seem to be getting worse as time goes on, which is so unfortunate considering the masterpiece that Hot Fuss was.
Bust Ya Windows - Like L.E.S. Artistes, this isn't really my style but I ended up liking this song anyways. Her voice is kickass.
Nobody's Home - Hate the song, hate the artist, enough said.
Before He Cheats - Classic. I can't stand country music, but this song has a powerful rock-fusion thing going on that makes it great.
