You're not important enough now. What happens in 20 years when you're running a business or running for political office? What if somebody digs up the information on you and uses it to blackmail you? Don't think that they're collecting this data to just delete it after a certain amount of time. There is nothing on the books right now governing anything they do. Not what they collect, not how they collect it and how long they must keep it.
Sure most of those things are theoretical horror stories but nothing outside the realm of possibility. And this isn't just directed at you. It's towards everybody.
Ask yourself if you really, truly, feel comfortable knowing that everything you send and receive is being archived by people you don't know. Edward Snowden himself said that the NSA agents/contractors can view and pass around nude photos they intercept. Skype and other video messaging apps are dropped in on or recorded outright. Do you feel comfortable with that? Sexual activity or not, your privacy and your power is being taken away from you.
