u know whats unfair: That people on the one hand insist on the fact that Bey is doing what shes doing since 18 years but still want to stick to her solo-sales only in order to diminish what she's accomplished.

Imho, Bey should be treated just like Diana Ross. Both have been super successfull with their bands, have been leadsingers of their bands and basically the force behind their strong sales, and have managed to stay super successfull as soloartists.
Part of Beyonces legacy is DC, its partly the reason shes become so successfull now. When she started out as a solo artist, she already was well-known around the world. Why would you go on and say her career started in 2003? Doesnt make sense and only comes across as pressedness.

You know exactly why -- Brando pointing out that the past decade means 2005-2015 is a hindrance to them attempting to limit from 2010 and after so they can't angle away from some of Bey's most successful eras as if it would even make a difference in a discussion about who is the bigger star. Acting brand new as if they don't understand that a decade means any period of ten years -- please. Knock it off.

Regardless of whether we're talking about 2000-2010, 2005-2015 or 2010 onward (which makes absolutely no sense if we're talking decades considering this is only 5.5 years in), Bey is still and always has been the bigger star. Her star power is matched by an extreme few in ALL of the entertainment industry -- not even just music. You can drone on and on all damn day about number one singles, Bey is the bigger star. Period.
