The show was broadcasted during December-January when NO SHOWS are aired because of the holidays since people won't be watching tv.
99% of the shows were on holiday break because they get bad ratings during the holidays and yet SoA was aired in that time.

No, it's decent for a network like this. Although considering the lead in and time slot, it could've done better. 8M is a tad low.

The Night Shift has the same lead in and its only getting 5M viewers + SoA only got The Voice lead in for TWO episodes and then it was aired during holiday break. No show airs during holiday break, NONE.

I mean, that's what happens when you continually bite the hand that feeds you.
