Sorry but those GH:MP original songs all sound horribly dated to me. I'd go as far as saying BOMT sounds fresher and btw before you dare disagree
Greatest Hits: My Prerogative is much better than The Singles Collection imo (speaking about the standard US editions only). Of course, GH:MP could be even better if they chose the original albums versions of Boys and Overprotected over the remixes.

Overprotected is pretty much a rehash of the songs Max already produced for Britney. The Darkchild remix was a step in the right direction for her back then.

to be honest, her vocals on the first verse of the song gives me FF/HATLM teas, it might not be that unrealistic that it was actually intended for FF in 2010 when the albums direction supposedly changed. But me too, I miss it.
