His is actually a scar, but that used to be a thing in my country. Boys would do that to their eyebrow and I admit I once did it too. I won't do it again.

In my country this was a symbol the the working class youth (aka the Chavs). I never had it done.

One of mine is something like that. I fell and had to get stitches and the hair never grew back and it's just like space in between a part of my brow.
