All of this
This is why I barely enter the base thread when she releases a new single, the Army is so pessimistic.

Meh, I just use pessimism as damage control to avoid disappointment in its chart performance by telling myself that I expected it to bomb anyways. That's it.

Please Sign-Up For Rate The Music
RateTheMusic.com is an American radio survey site with great impact on radio play in the United States. Not only are your opinions seen by radio programmers, but they're also shown to label executives and multiple artists have had surveys to help pick their next single. The site issues a new survey every Thursday and also updates regularly with more surveys to keep you involved!
You have to state a home format which will probably be Top 40 (another name for Pop Radio, also known as CHR) and post your most-listened to radio stations along with your zip code, name, age, address and ethnicity (optional). They do NOT share your information though they have you confirm it every three months to keep your information current. If you are not from the U.S., I highly recommend using one of the following profiles when signing up:
1. New York City, New York
A. WHTZ (Top 40/ Z-100)
B. WXRK (Top 40/ 92.3 NOW)
C. WQHT (Rhythmic/ Hot 97)
Zip Codes: 10002, 10009, 10016, 10025, 10029, 10032, 10034, 10035, 10039, 10040 ,10128, 11219, 11220, 11226 http://www.city-data.com/zipmaps/New-York-New-York.html
2. Los Angeles, California
A. KIIS (Top-40/ 102.7 KIIS-FM)
B. KAMP (Top 40/ AMP 97.1)
C. KPWR (Rhythmic/ Power 106 FM)
Zip Codes: 90003, 90004,, 90006, 90011, 90018, 90019, 90026, 90042 http://www.city-data.com/zipmaps/Los...alifornia.html
3. Chicago, Illinois
A. WKSC (Top-40/ 103.5 KISS-FM)
B. WBBM (Top-40/ B96)
C. WTMX (Hot AC/ The Mix)
Zip Codes: 60608, 60609, 60613, 60614, 60616, 60617, 60618, 60620 http://www.city-data.com/zipmaps/Chicago-Illinois.html
Note: You want to pick a zip-code with a large population and high population density. The bolded, underlined zip codes are the best to pick that I found.
If you decide you want more than one profile, that's actually alright:

You will need to sign up with a different email address for each music style or radio station you're interested in.

The song isn't in the top 30 yet so chances are your local stations won't have it to vote yet but the earlier you start an account, the more legitimate it looks.
I highly recommend making an account for your local Top-40 stations and then another one for either Z100 or KIIS (whichever you listen to online).
I'm going to start PMing you bitches so I better see you get to work work.

I did one survey like 2 days ago, so they obviously didn't include PG, but that didn't stop me from dragging her comp.
Lemme get started on the new one!

None of Iggy's songs were instant successes and didn't start blowing up until after video releases and live performances. The same will hopefully be true of this song. Unlike "Work Bitch," this song actually has mass appeal, it just needs time to catch on.
And if it doesn't, so what? At the end of the day, I am happy with the song and it is definitely going to be my summer jam. Plus we have an album to look forward to. Look at the bright side for once and stop worrying so much about chart success when Britney is already one of the most successful artists in history. Anything she does now is just icing on the cake really.

I am so tired of repeating the same over and over again. Give it time blah blah, Mv will come bla blah, BBMAs will be a success blah blah. I just want you all to know that I am remembering the names of every one of you that is being pessimistic right now and I will remind each and ever one of you for the rest of your dull uneventful disappointing lives that Britney succeeded when you gave up hope on her.
At the end of the day I choose to believe that Britney has the power to smash. This song hasn't smashed because there is not reason for it to smash. Tell me 1 good reason people should buy this song besides the fact that it's a Britney song. It has nothing going for it YET. Wait till we have some imagery, some promo, some exposure, a time to build momentum on radio. Give it a rest already.
P.S. Pessimism as a safety precaution never works. The haters will still drag you for filth if it flops and you will still be sad that it flopped no matter how low you pretend your expectations are. At least by being optimistic your fellow stans wont hate you.

I'll be sad that it flopped, duh, but at least I knew it'd flop to begin with!
Either way, WB flopping was way worse than PG flopping cuz we were comparing it to HIAM, now we're just comparing PG to WB so it doesn't feel as bad.

Maybe it's flopping because it's not a good song? Interesting concept right...

You will not tell me that while I look at the top 10 of Itunes and wonder who are most of these people and what did they do to get those horrible songs in there.

There has been zero promo since it dropped. Just 2 radio interviews which made it top 2 for 3 days. She didn't even mention the title on Ellen ........promo starts in. 3 days. Wait until
Then

I can understand that with her last lead. But this song is at least catchy and fun.
