West had been signed to the company’s management arm and had been tasked with overseeing the production of Rihanna’s brand new studio album.

Idg the point of cheering. The album's not finished and a whole new group has to come in and now put their marks on it. It's gonna take longer, and potentially be a more scrambled mess.
