I didn't see it as shade.
Basically, you can't deny that there are going to be more white artists in hip hop and being crossover.
This isn't the 90s where hip hop was coming to form.
Kids and young adults have hip hop as a big part of their culture now.
I guess you wanted the hit thread which is why you are pointing out the low key shade allegedly but I felt he answered it honestly.
both artist are hip pop not hip hop and one is clearly aware that they are hip pop and the other is busy trying to apologize for his success and grammy wins but not giving back their 30M pay off.
I think Iggy and Macklemore probably are more inspired and more aware about hip hop culture than many here tbh. This isn' the first time someone has mentioned that they truly seem inspired and a fan of the culture.
