I really don't think Iggy added anything to the song in terms of impact. I feel like people don't really care that she's on it. Britney did her part and got it close to the top, but Iggy was supposed to get it to number 1.
The over reactions. Anaconda dropped to the 40s for like a month then the video was released and it shot right back into the top 10. Videos help a lot.
Ellen or GMA. And it will be so easy getting the number 2 position on iTunes after the MV. If it cant get the number 1 then the performance will surely do it!

if anything, I think she hurt the song. the only good thing about iggy on this track is that she convinced Britney to promote. but the backlash against iggy, as many have said, is clearly NOT just limited to social media/atrl/urban blogs
