Every year I feel like I'm losing my eyesight. My ophthalmologist said my R(x) didn't change but I think this is the year that I finally get some bad news.

inb4 I'm blind before the age of 30. Are you prescribed glasses/contacts for your poor vision?

This is also why posting is so difficult because the font is too small. We should all use big fonts tbh

I'm not supposed to wear glasses or contacts and according to my opthalmologist my vision is on point, but sometimes I feel like I'm losing some eyesight... it's probably because I'm tired tho.

When I first got mine checked 11 yrs ago, I only needed glasses for just reading. when I got them checked 4 yrs ago, slight changes, but not too big. Checked again last yr and my vision was said to have gotten a lot worse. So basically, yes.

Yes I've been embarrassed a few times when I couldn't see the board and the teacher asked me a question but I couldn't answer cause I couldn't see it.

I remember when I didn't wear glasses for 5 years, I would put my index finger and lightly press the top of my eye to see the board

I thought I was, but I think my eyes are slowly shutting more and more over time because I'm tired all the time.

I have to sit in the front of the classroom just because of that reason. It's so embarrassing and I wear glasses/contacts

But even then it's not helping I don't get it. I'm actually terrified of losing my sight because if I do lose it, I will kill myself. I won't live in a world blind. I won't do it

I have terrible eyesight that has gotten progressively worse over the years. It seems to have stabilized now but I'm still a little scared of going blind one day

I would like to advise everybody that has doubts about their eyesight to get it tested because being able to see properly again really opens a whole new world

But I wear contacts and look so cute
I will get lasik sometime when I'm almost full blind by 30

i have glasses :s, i have astigmatism

Everyone in my immediate family has glasses and my eyesight only gets worse each year so yeah slowly but surely

No, my sight is still flawfree

I am one line away from blindless in my left eye, my visual acuity in my left eye is 6/48 and my right eye is 6/18, my perscription in my left eye is -10.25 and my right is -9.50, I actually have Retinopathy of Prematurity, Astigmatism, Myopia and Cataracts, but my optician said that my left eye has not got worse and has improved a bit, my right eye is fine though.

It's actually improving a bit, senior year of high school I was diagnosed with astigmatism and myopia.
