What decay? Album sales aren't as good as they once were and there was no hit single to carry this album, 250k is great once you factor all that in shows, that they have a loyal fan base

Probably, when they calculated its predictions, they find out it's lower than statistical error, so they decided they wouldn't publish it.

It is a decay. Their last album opened big and won Album Of The Year. They also embarked on a very successful tour.
Believe topped both Alternative Airplay charts and sold a decent amount.
The lead for Babel, I Will Wait didn't cross over to Pop and HAC until after the album came out. The big opening numbers kinda forced them to play it imo.
All things considered, this is a decay.

Female trinity

You're trying it so hard. This album is for a newer audience (a very crowded genre) as they dropped the banjo. Their name became synonymous with "Folk" and "Banjo" and those two elements are nowhere to be found in this album. They have a loyal fanbase that is why it's outselling most of the pop girl's recent releases.

Personally I think it's a great move to reinvent. Had they continue making the same songs (even though they're not) they will eventually be sellouts sooner than later!

Its brave for a group to change their sound. Im sure they knew it could lose them sales but feel its more important to evolve as musicians.

And theyre still selling more than the vast majority of bands(and pop girls) and are huge live.

I'm not trying anything, just stating facts (they had a huge era and won AOTY) and artists change their sound all the time without losing their core audience. I wouldn't call them sellouts. Their songs are still played by the same radio stations.
I own Sigh No More and Babel but after streaming Wilder Mind, I decided to skip this one because it's just not good enough.

Mmm, I don't know if her last release has even gotten to that # worldwide after half a year.
