American singer-songwriter and The X Factor USA winner Melanie Amaro is back to the music spotlight with brand new single called “Dust“.

This new single becomes the second independent release of the artist after the cancellation of her debut album and break her deal with Epic Records and Syco.

What an interesting song title.

This sounds nice, not major, but Epic/Syco really screwed her over She has such a good voice, but got those basic leftovers and edm inspired pop.

I love this. I'm getting 2007 Kendrick Dean throwback teas from this with the strings. But the vocals are still modern. I wish it was a complete throwback tho

The placement of harmonies in the chorus are very reminiscent of Dawn Richard/ Danity Kane tbh
