Because regardless, from the looks of it that dress would have still blown up on the internet as it is right now simply because... It's Beyonce. Maybe cuz Bey does have an ego and would rather have her own spotlight than share it with a fellow artist?

Pretty sure she arrived late on purpose, may not have much to do with Rihanna per say. But I think she believed her dressed may have been lost in the mix of other dresses and really wanted a moment for herself. She has a show stealing body, but not a show stealing dress.
