Exactly, this. Rihanna's dresses frequently get memed. That doesn't mean anything or make them any less fabulous, and let's be honest. Probably the only other person who could have pulled off that Pei cape was Gaga. Ditto for Rih's Grammy dress.

Rihanna's ensemble stood out because it was unique, just like her CFDA dress and head scarf stood out. This article pretty much sums it up. All the "booty queens" (J.Lo, Bey, Kim) were doing that sheer peek-a-boo look. Yawn. Meanwhile, Rihanna dazzled in a thematic showpiece with amazing color and embroidery. And it was done by a Chinese designer! Amazing!

Getting the fashion industry's praise AND social media buzz. A true ICON.

Umm those dress are, IMO, not close to the Beyonce's one as jlo's is. Like shee even has the same hair, makeup, nails as her.

This Rih dress is getting just as much attention as Gaga's Oscar dress. Not even close to the Meat Dress.

Anyway Rih looked flawless so yeah, she deserves it. I think Gaga's look was underpreciated, it was really nice tbh.

And Beyonce's look wasn't really suitable for this event I think, but she looked good. And everyone has worn those kind of dresses, stop coming for Bey, non of your favs wore it first either so yeah

point is rihanna stood out, that grammy aerial pic sums up rihanna's fashion, while everyone else is doing different variations on the same thing, she is the only one standing out. Cant wait for the next major red carpet, u gonna see alot of celebs trying that out the box thing...

Why are people even mentioning Gaga. lbr everyone else is out of the picture except Rih, Kim K and Bey for best dressed and most impact for this year's Met Gala. The rest are either boring or overdone.
