CHANNEL Seven has signed up heavyweight international stars Chris Isaak and James Blunt to it’s new look The X Factor line-up as the winter TV ratings battle heats up.
Australia’s Eurovision hope Guy Sebastian will also return to the show, replacing Natalie Bassingthwaighte for the seventh season of the hit Channel Seven reality singing show. Isaak and Blunt come on board in place of Ronan Keating and Redfoo.
“It is going to be surreal to be on the show as a judge after having watched so many episodes as a fan,” Isaak said.
“I know it’s a show with a history of articulate, intelligent judges, and I know they wanted to change that up so they called me.
“I have watched the show at home and rooted for my favourites. Now I will be doing pretty much the same thing, only I will comb my hair and put on a clean shirt. I’m ready.”
Blunt, who was a guest judge for Dannii Minogue’s team last year, said: “It’s the most fun job I can imagine, in the best country in the world.”
