Chris appeals to pop more than most of his contemporaries though. You don't see Trey or August or Jeremih out here singing Madonna rejects. The only reason X-Con wasn't more pop oriented was because he FINALLY figured out that pop fans aren't here for his ass.

Chris has ALWAYS been a BIT more mainstream (and bigger) than them. And he's ALWAYS done a few pop songs here & there, while still catering MOSTLY to Urban, because he is an Urban artist. Am not sure what is so hard to get about this. He still does pop songs every now and then till this day
