Hmmmm...
Vocals studied at performing arts schools; studied from a sociopolitical perspective at Rutgers; studied from a business perspective at Harvard. Senate hearing calling for investigations on her Cuba vacation; media frenzies following a
haircut; single-handedly renewed interest in the subject of feminism in the mainstream consciousness because of her music; being used on a massive scale now by right wing talking heads on a recurring basis to describe a core young female demographic as the "Beyoncé voters" in the building Clinton campaign -- it goes on and on. Bey is bar none the star that is talked about the MOST in
all levels of media; not just entertainment media and all discussion settings -- not just those limited to music. Who else is doing it today? Please name one who has this level of interest from ALL angles in the last couple of years.
