According to Breitbart, the Green Party in the U.K. has announced that they are “open” to legalizing threeway marriages in the country.
During a recent Q&A, reporter Jon Barrett asked Green Party leader Natalie Bennett, “As someone living with his two boyfriends in a stable long-term relationship, I would like to know what your stance is on polyamory rights. Is there room for Green support on group civil partnerships or marriages?” “We have led the way on many issues related to the liberalisation of legal status in adult consenting relationships, and we are open to further conversation and consultation,” she replied.
This news comes the same week that the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology Congress found that polygamy quadruples the risk of heart disease.
Europe once paved the way for gay marriage to be brought up in the U.S. Should Britain legalize threeway marriages, it won’t be long before it makes it’s way to the U.S. God only knows what’s next…
You know what, I was actually gonna say that I was against this - but I'm not. If three people find themselves in a relationship with each other and they genuinely love each other, I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to have a legally recognized union.
It's three consenting adults making a decision. It is not in my place to tell them what they can and cannot do.
I wouldn't judge, but it's not happening any time soon. Just too many legal questions politicians don't want to face: who gets the property? Is there a head wife/husband? How do they handle taxes?
If Netherlands who was the first to have gay marriage isn't in a hurry to introduce bigamy then UK even less.
This is being used to ridicule gay marriage BUT to be honest I do not care what kind of marriages human consenting adults do. It's their lives and as long as they are not harming anyone and are human consenting adults it's whatever!
Is it for just 2 women and a man or are they also including 2 men and a woman. Because usually they only support the former
This is kinda stupid, but if people want it.. I guess. Not sure I agree they should be allowed to get married though, I think that should remain 2 people only.
