It's so LOUD. I don't like loud songs. It's not a very pleasing song to listen to, which isn't exactly what I would use to describe a good song.

Why do you think the Kpop golden age ended and Kpop went into decline when T-ARA started flopping? What happened after T-ARA went into hiding after Sexy Love? Songs started sucking on a massive degree. I Got A Boy, Wolf, Growl, Female President, etc. Coincidence? I think not!

I actually really enjoy the trends in both western and korean pop music right now.

OT: An English version of 4minute/EXID/KARA is what Fifth Harmony's management desperately wants them to be, they just don't realize it. I hate their new image, their ACH stuff was what worked, not faux urban. Serve me a Step/Up&Down/Be My Baby/Volume Up, not this ****** Bo$$ and Worth It stuff. Sledgehammer was boring, but a bit better.

None of those songs you listed besides maybe Up & Down would do well in America. Worth It is already their biggest hit and it's going with the trend right now. They are doing fine.

Be My Baby is the perfect blend of the retro trend and contemporary though. And Step would end careers based on the quality of the song alone.

Why do Korean idols born and raised in America never have any non Asian friends or in fact non Korean friends that they hang with when they come back to visit (with the exception of Park Bom)....example GOT7's Mark Tuan came to LA with GOT7 members and all his friends are Asian? Same with Tiffany and Krystale and Jessica.

Even then the only artists in Korea who actively hang out with non Asians on a regular while in Korea are 2ne1 and BIGBANG when they go out to eat and party with BAND SIX (the band that travels with them on tour is all black). Just don't get it.

IGAB is a fantastic performance piece and would be the highlight of a concert, but doesn't really work if you're sitting and listening to the music alone. (Similar to SHINee's Everbody) It's kind of like a cheerleading routine mix, you'd be entertained watching it or experiencing it, but take away the visual and performance aspect and it's just a bunch of noise and songs jammed together to a casual listener.

I know it wasn't initially in Korean, but I can't at you actin' like CMIYC didn't happen…
