Okay so it's quite reasonable to call her overrated since she is praised a lot.

However, she's underrated vocally. Vocal prowess is actually measurable and people here think singers such as Gaga are on her level when Gags is incapable of doing half of the things Beyoncé is capable of. Beyoncé is technically perfect, her vocals are completely flawless.(that's why her voice is studied in colleges around the world). Most people here and in real life don't realize this. How can they? They don't know much about vocals, but its the objective truth.

In terms of creativity, she's also underrated on this site. People think she has no creative input when you'd have to be moronic to not realize what makes Beyoncé's music different.(why she's still selling albums like hot cakes 18 yrs into her career.) Her harmonies are completely unparalleled since Mariah, 99% of people wouldn't understand what this means, but to me, it's complete heaven and its amazing talent I look for in artists!!

Terms of Dancing: Idk, but I don't really see people praising her dancing. They always say that "all she does is shake her ass". I don't know anything about dancing so meh.

Sure, Beyoncé is praised a lot more than she should be at times and the media does force her down our throats on a daily basis, but at least she does have raw talent that can't be disputed and is devoted to her craft, unlike others.

Only jealous dummies would think she's overrated. In fact, I'll go so far as to say she's UNDERrated, especially as a vocalist and writer. She doesn't get enough props for the fact that she pretty much outsings any artist out today and her technical proficiency is unmatched.

She's a great performer, but considering that live music is not the primary medium in which we consume an artist's music, I don't really give performing as much weight when I consider the overall talent of an artist. I can more about an artist's discography, vocal tone, musicianship, creativity, songwriting ability, and I don't think she's that impressive in any of the those categories There are many female artists who are better in these areas, but they don't have as great of an image, aren't as popular in the media, or don't dance in their performances, which some people think is the only way to be a talented performer She's better than most major pop girls, but she's not some groundbreaking artist.
