This one is particularly good for those who can't place themselves in the shoes of a gay man or a lesbian woman.

I would have sex with like 5 different men every single day. I would never get anything done. My god...think of the options. The dating pool would be huge. It would be like going from living in a tribe in Africa and eating wild animals to an American supermarket where they have an entire aisle just for cereal.

edit: Why is this reported? It's an analogy about going from something scarce (a small, limited dating pool) to something that's extremely abundant (a large dating pool, or an American supermarket) - that's the worst part about being gay. The small dating pool...

That isn't true.

When you have the majority of something viewed as normal that group with the dominance will view themselves as right and better. You think sexism, racism and so on wouldn't exists if the marginalized group had the power and dominate?

Gays would be just as bad. But the thing is such a world can't exist. Because if it did, humans would be extinct.

right. dating is far a bigger issue than the high suicide rate in the lgbt community and having having people deny your human rights.

For someone like me who's had an extremely easy life growing up in one of the world's gayest cities with a really accepting family/group of friends, it is.

I'm not suicidal though, and I live in a country where it's legal to be gay and even though gay marriage isn't legal, I never want to get married so that doesn't phase me. I was speaking from my personal perspective. Sorry if it was offensive. Didn't mean to offend. It's the only thing I don't like about being gay. I love everything else about it.

I agree about the small dating pool and I haven't faced many homophobic experiences myself but I was speaking from a general perspective bc that's what the video in the OP was about
