Beyonce's ratings was the highest rated Documentary on HBO in TEN years.
HBO is a premium channel, it's not MTV.

'The block with Beyonce’s 14-minute performance outperformed the previous half-hour by three-tenths of a rating point. The Baltimore Ravens-San Francisco 49ers game peaked, audience-wise, between 10:30 and 10:47 p.m. when an average of 113.982 million viewers were watching.'

You seem misinformed! And viewership ALWAYs peaks near the end, like it did with last years Superbowl game with Katy performing (she wasn't the peak).
Don't compare a Ravens vs 49ers game to the other years that had controversies and better teams.
Let's not forget in 2011, the 2011 VMAs went on to be the MOST WATCHED VMA Program in its history with over 12 million viewers.
Grammys ratings:
2015 25.30
2014 28.51
2013 28.37
2012 39.91
2011 26.55
Peaked at 2014, when Beyoncé peformed. Ignoring 2012 because Rihanna, Adele, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj,Chris Brown, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Coldplay all performed

, and it had the Whitney tribute the a day after Whitney died.
