Sonja isn't disliked . Sonja beings the comedy to the show I mean she is the life of the party and her drama is never so dark like the other girls

I can't say I've ever read any positive comments about her on social media at all, second to Aviva she was the most unpopular last season. I just hate they promote such awful people at times on the show.

I have to admit, I have never really seen much negativity for Sonja. A lot of people say she is delusional, but go on to say they can't help but find her lovable.

I know this seems stubborn but I'm just saying I'm not pulling this out of my ass lol I'm not crazy!
These are pretty much the only posts on Sonja from this season. All of the top comments and most of the other comments are all negative, same as what I have seen on twitter. I'm not even trying to be argumentative lol just showing why I came to the conclusion I did.

I guess you're right then. I just hadn't noticed tha negativity online. I saw a few comments about her being stupid and slu*ty, but adorable, and I guess I just generalised.

Yasss the season 2 reunion was amazing. I'm getting caught up on the show again. But when kelly said she was voted most charitable when she was 16 :dead:

I'm on season 3 now and it's by far the best housewives season ever. Th eiconic brooklyn fashion week where ramona showed her crazy eyes during the runway. Kelly saying feelings are so 1979 and bethenney is a cook not a chef :dead:

My friend is watching NYC for the first time from the beginning so I rewatched the season 2 reunion with her yesterday and that HAS to be the best housewives reunion tied with NJ2.

"The grass isn't always greener, doesn't matter how much fertilizer you add".

"I'm blonde you're brunette were very alike. "You're blonde?"

"That really scared me watching that does your husband physically abuse you at home"

"I'm not trying to be derogatory but do you ever discipline your children and if so how do you discipline them"

"I don't wanna eat in Brooklyn" "Where do you think Brooklyn is, Ohio?"

"You talk about how you're some journalist, I mean you write a three sentence column about your miniskirt, we're not confusing you with Stone Phillips. You write about paisley zac Posen dresses. I mean it's not like you're in Iraq covering the war. Get a grip!"

Kelly really was insane back then, did anyone else notice (and we need to give her credit) how she became a completely normal person in season 4. After being completely insane through the whole of s2/3 she must have got some good meds because I don't think she had one moment that was a crazy moment....and her calling alex weird and truly meaning it kills me every time.

Yeah she probably got much needed treatment after scary island. She still had a little bit of crazy left in her though, as we saw in the season 4 reunion. I still get the kids from:

"Cosmopolitan rated me one of the top 10 most nicest celebs ever"

Jelly never became normal she just had no more of a reason to act out, because her biggest perceived threat Bethenney left. Plus all the backlash bravo got for that episode I'm sure they gave Kelly a tame edit

But looking back on how much Kelly truly hated bethenney. Makes me think she rarely came across someone who recognized, addressed and put her problematic self in check, all the while making her look crazy at the same time. Then to witness beth be the biggest success story and the most loved, really made Kelly go crazy sparking scary island.

After leaving the show, Alex McCord said the RHONY ladies were always told to slow their speed of talking down while on the show. The season 2 reunion was the best example of why that is the case

One of my favourite moments was:

Ramona: "You don't buy the cow if you get the milk for free."
Jill: "How do you know she was giving any milk away?"
Ramona: "I didn't say she was, I said it was the oldest rule."
Jill: "But what does the rule apply to if you weren't insinuating that she was giving it AWAY FOR FREE?!"

Then Bethenny getting up to fix her dress and Ramona imitating her

Then Sonja saying, "I'M NICE, I'M NICE. Say it a few more times, you might believe it"
