I feel like Britney is the most hyped popstar when it comes to lead singles. Every new era her fans and the media dig in every little detail about her new song. People start to stalk everyone that works with her and all that stuff. The hype over Womanizer, HIAM, Work Bitch and Pretty Girls was insane!!

Hype and front loaded can be synonymous. There was a lot of Born this Way hype resulting in front loaded sales for both single and album, finishing with mediocre returns. Unlike Taylor who has the hype and longevity.

Although you are wrong. Womanizer, Circus, 3 and TTWE were all consistent sellers after their debut pre album releases. Hiam and Wb are only singles that fit this stalling front loaded idea going around.
