I produced and wrote all the songs that propelled Selena to the top. Nobody will ever sing like her. She is a one of a kind voice. 2nite Jlo did an outstanding job. She was not trying to sound like my sister only pay tribute to someone she loved also including our whole family. Those of you who have been leaving negative comments are not true Selena fan's knowing she was not about negativity. Do me a favor and delete your negative comments off my pages. Somewhat agree with this. But her songs are well known with the Latin crowds in Latin America though. And the movie definitely did a lot to help her legacy. Don't try to downplay Queen Selena!
I am too young to know who made global who but I really remember first bopping to Selena's music in the 2000's because a music channel from my country passed her music and she even entered to rankings even when she was already death by then, but first I listened her music and then seeing the movie, I think both helped each other careers but it was all because of Selena so the OP must calm down and don't disrespect her, I love Jlo too but dont even try to come for my Queen Selena.
