When people offer to buy you things and they say "get whatever you want", do you actually get whatever you want, or are you still conservative and get something cheap?

I, personally, tend to get something cheap unless they make it a point that I actually get what I want. What about you guys?

I always refuse their offer, no matter how much they insist. If they get to the point where they are angry about it (usually happens at restaurants), then I always go for whatever is the absolute cheapest. It doesn't matter how much money I know the person has, I will always make sure they aren't spending a lot on me, if anything.

I always get the cheapest thing because I feel bad

This happened to me yesterday. I said no of course.

This actually happened to me today, and I got what I wanted after originally settling for something cheaper. They found out and insisted I actually get what I wanted.

Depends on who it is, and what is it. If its food I dont care I'll get whatever.

Realistically, it depends who it is. If I know that they are filthy rich and the money isn't a loss to them, I might go a little crazy

They have to insist, then I say yes. If they dont insist is because they are just being polite. I'm too proud to take **** from anyone usually, unless it's a very close friends/boyfriend/family.

Unless it's books. I always say yes to books

Depends on who's offering. If it's a friend I go cheap, if it's my rich ass uncle I go all out
