About the stress thing, I decided to over-emphasize some syllables in words, and pick out which ones sounded awkward.

TELL-er sounded like a command, tell-ER sounded like a question, which sounded awkward to me. I think that might help with other words too.

I understood what was happening, but I think it's messy songwriting to make a thematic switch in the chorus of your song, out of the blue. The question, "What is this song about?" should be able to be seen from looking just at your chorus. If I looked at yours in isolation, I wouldn't think it's about a trans experience. Same for verse; if I looked at that in isolation, I wouldn't know the song had anything at all to do with looking for love. So my critique was just that the theme of the chorus should be at least hinted at/prefigured in the verse so the different sections of the song don't feel like they're coming from left field. Hope that clarifies!

Well I stand by it 100%. There's absolutely NO country on earth where if it's "cold, cold" outside, the snow magically resists becoming snow. That ain't how it works. Snow has no agency. If it's below 32 F, the precipitation will fall as snow. Also, sleet and rain are not the same thing.

Justify My Love should've been one of the song titles tbh. Interesting title, and someone could've had the chance to finally turn JML into a good song. There was really no way to NOT be better than the original!
