I'm okay with this. They need to use Emily VanCamp and turn her into an action star. She would make the PERFECT supervilian or spy.

why are the calling this a "cancelation" and not something like "Show Ending" "Series Finale"... I mean is not it was doing noting in ratings, they just had no more ideas and the ratings went from 12M to 4M.

I'm sad but this season has been good and I think there is not much story left to tell. Hopefully the last few episodes are good.

Will miss this show. But it's for the best. Now I can't wait for the last two episodes.


PS: I believed they filmed more scenes in case it would be cancelled, so we'll have a proper ending.

Season 1 was fantastic. Season 2 wasn't bad either. The show went on for too long

Good riddance. Horrible show, Season 2 is more dull than watching paint dry. I've never been completely, totally, utterly indifferent and apathetic to a show, its characters, its plot, etc. until then. Usually I at least hate them. I couldn't even be invested enough to do that

You guys do too much on season 4, it's actually been great, in my opinion. Makes sense as a final season for sure - Emily will (hopefully) finally be happy and have her hands clean.

Good decision. I just hope the writers got this news early enough to give the show a somewhat decent send off. The writing lately has been Nobody cares about Margeaux trying to act tough, no one cares about David having lymphoma (he should've stayed dead to be honest), and no one cares for the lack of character development and accelerated romances and story lines that make no sense. I'm still not sure if Victoria is dead for sure but lately the episodes have been 58 minutes of beating around the bush and then 1 minute of actual shock/storyline. It had a good run but honestly this story could've been told in 2 seasons. The initiative and killing off key characters like Aiden, Daniel, and Conrad took away from the central themes and draw of the first season. With the final episode titled Two Graves, I think it would be only fitting for Amanda and Victoria to die but the writers will likely go for some cliché ending with Emily and Jack having some pseudoromantic happily ever after and David or that obnoxious cop dying. Fans of the show would probably be fine with Charlotte and Margeaux being the two graves too

Victoria was the best part of this show and her clashes with Emily were the highlights. Take that away and there really is no show, so I'm glad it coming to an end and I'm hoping for a good finale.

They tried with her in that flop role in Captain America sis, she should have waited and tried for Batman vs Robin, Suicide Squad, X-Men, Captain Marvel etc but she's now unlikely to get another big comic role

I knew it was coming to an end. I'll be sad to see it go, but it had to come at some point, and I feel like it was time. This season has been great though!

The show gets a lot of flack...deservedly. The writing, rushed romances, and stupid plot twists often defy logic...even for a soapy drama.

Still, when it gets it "right" it really is an amazing watch. Even its missteps take on a "so bad they're good" quality sometimes. Plus, the investment in the show's core characters kept me watching. We love Emily, Nolan, Victoria (love to hate) so much that watching became essential.

Ultimately, two things T.K.O'd the show: season 2, which defined dreadful with all that "initiative" garbage and bringing back David Clarke. I was actually in support of the latter initially. However, by the middle of this season, it became clear it was a mistake.
The writers backed themselves up against a wall with his "resurrection" because it meant they HAD to explore his relationship with Emily and Victoria, as well as his reintroduction into society. It meant so much of the season was taken up with that rather than classic Revenge style take-downs. The stupid Malcolm Black arch was appalling too. The fact they let Daniel die at the hands of his daughter (who had only been in show for 3 episodes) was an unforgivable move too.

All in all, it's clear the past mistakes and risk of cancellation ended up overwhelming the writers...so much so that they coughed up a so-so season and ended up cancelled anyway lol.

Super sad show is ending, but hope good things are to come for the cast with other projects.

Shut up! Every season has been great, y'all are a bunch of drama queens. Just enjoy the last two ****ing episodes, and stop acting like y'all can write a better storyline because you can't. If you could, you would be pursuing a career in writing instead of talking **** all day on a music forum.

Omg drag them! people sit along for the ride and laugh and gasp at all the moments and then go back and **** on all the seasons that aren't season 1. The show has been amazing and their only weak point was when they ventured too much into The Initiative in season 2.

Season 2 killed the show. A very established fact. Almost everyone I know who was die hard for this stopped in Season 2 because they introduced too many extra characters and strayed too much from the main purpose of the show and the shocking moments every episode. Season 3 dug that hole deeper but had better quality.

This isn't suprising to me though, Season 2 of shows is always the major test. Most creators plan their show for one season or just those initial episodes because they dont know if they're getting renewed. They need to realize that if they plan the show further and better, the ABC budget will fund everything. Just keep the quality up.

Anyways, I'll catch up on Revenge over summer. I still have some episodes from season 1 + 2 on my laptop that I haven't watched
