I wouldn't either, at least not if I'm checking the sales of an artist and trying to back up a fact with them.

My sources are RCA, RIAA, ARIA, IFPI, etc. Not that you know those companies are anyway.

Not to mention Womanizer went to #1 only because of publicity stunts (shaving her head, almost killing her son, faking hospitalization), but im not surprised tho, everything Britney did or does is always overhyped and is based on shock value, thats what you have to do when you have no real talent. You have to keep your audience intersted somehow (See Madonna). It wont help If you seek amy tho, that crappy generic song flopped harder then Keeps getting better, a single that wasnt even promoted from a greatest hits album, which christina was against releasing.

Britney hadn't had a #1 in 10 years, true, but in between that time she got a lot of relevant hits. No one remembers her big hits, but everyone will remember "BOMT", "Oops", "Toxic", "Gimme More", "Piece of Me", and her hits from this era.
Also, "Womanizer" went #1 in October 2008. She shaved her in FEBRUARY 2007, hospital **** happened in JANUARY 2008. What the ****? Are you that desperate? No wonder you posted pics of her from 2006-2007. You're still stuck in a time where Christina was somewhat relevant.
Britney and Madonna might do a shock value to spark an era, but they ALWAYS deliver with amazing music. Just because Christina is boring as **** and fails to generate ANY type of interest doesn't mean you have to be so pressed.

Are you freaking serious? You really think Pieces of me or Gimme more are going to be remembered? Lmaaaaaoooo this statement in itself is ridiculous and doesnt deserve a response, however, i'll let you have it anyways. BEautiful is a classic and one of the biggest songs by Christina, not to mention a grammy winner and the biggest song of 2003. In fact, it was so huge that year that it got a Song of the year nomination at the grammys. It is still played on radio stations across the country today. It peaked at #2 in Billboard, #1 in UK and Australia as well as Canada. where did Piece of me peak? #18! lmaooo Gimme more was a hot tranny mess(you must missed the music video, Heidi Montag's Higher had bigger budget than Gimme NoMore), and nobody even knows Pieces of me. You think just because it won a VMA it automatically makes the song classic?? I havent heard it once on the radio. The only song worth praising is Toxic and even that didnt reach the top 5. Even keeps getting better outpeaked it on billboard. Obviously, BOMT and Oops are classics, but so are Genie in the bottle and Beautiful, Britney fans are so deluded

You got some delusional thoughts don't you? A lot of songs are classic ... A lot of artists have won a grammy ... A lot of songs have been nominated for song of the year ... A lot of songs have peaked at #2 on Billboard ... and so on and so forth. It's nothing special if you really want to break down the facts.
Plus, I love how you haven't responded to my other post yet.

The fact is that Piece Of Me was bigger in the UK than anything Christina has released in the last 7 years. Yikes.

You are so pathetic thinking that you own the world. Guess what ... you don't! Don't sit there and act like you have something better to do and that everyone is beneath you. Trust me, you aren't that special.

I won't even WASTE time on how you used "Beautiful" worldwide peaks but not "Piece of Me". It was the most talked about song from Blackout and received lots of recognition, not just the VMAs. Worldwide hit, broke/tied a lot of records, etc. "Gimme More" of course was the "comeback". A failed one VMA/promotional-wise, but the comeback to her music. That will never be forgotten. It'll always be in her overviews.
And LMAO. "Toxic" was #1 Pop song in 2004 for an entire month. Unfortunately digital sales didn't count in 2004 so she had to settle as a white female pop singer and made #9 which was rare for her type of artist at the time.
If "KGB" didn't have digital sales do you know where it would have peaked?? It didn't even debut on the Hot 100 until it was released to iTunes nearly A MONTH after it got released to radio. "Womanizer" spent 4 days on radio and debuted on the Hot 100 that same week!
