Jay hasn't been on his best game musically, but after like 200383 albums, I can understand a slight decline here and there. But IMO he hasn't served one truly awful album.
And after seeing him live for the first time ever last year, my respect for him as a live performer has gone up tremendously. Like Bey, he can do the most with the very least. No theatrics, no dancers, just a naturally entertaining guy. Sometimes y'all are a little too hard on him. He's not perfect, but **** neither is Bey.
I hope they both push each other to make the best combined effort of music possible. Until I hear with my own ears that it sucks, I'm going to continue to be here for the Carters slaying.
