This poor girl and her plight has been in the media for the Chicago area over the last week or so, as the local community has rallied around her. She got her road named after her and was made an honorary Chicago Police Officer. There was also a local media and social media campaign this week to get Taylor's attention as Emily is a huge Taylor fan.
None of this has anything to do with Time or Taylor's publicist FFS, it was already a media story before Taylor even called her. Just goes to show you can do a really kind hearted thing and you still get haters criticising you for it. The contrast in the sort of person Taylor is and the haters in this thread is vividly highlighted by their respective behaviour.
