Jonah Hill packing on the pounds for his new role?
The 31-year-old Superbad actor was snapped on the set of his new comedy, Arms and the Dudes, in Burbank, Calif. on Wednesday, looking noticeably heavier than he has in recent years. Sporting a blue shirt, beige slacks, slicked-back hair and some serious self-tanner, Jonah looked almost unrecognizable.
It's unclear if Jonah's weight gain is for his new film, which tells the true story of two men who were contracted by the Pentagon to arm America's allies in Afghanistan. Directed by The Hangover director Todd Phillips, the film also stars Miles Teller, and isn't set to hit theaters until next year.
Losing weight and keeping it off is a constant battle that's easy to lose. I feel bad for him and I hope he can get back to where he was a year or two ago.
There ain't a chubby person on this planet who'd gain back that much weight for ANYTHING. I don't feel like this was intentional. I hope he manages to drop down to a healthy size again, for his own sake.
His career is more successful when he's fat, so it's a strong possibility the weight gain was his intention.
He did 21 and 22 Jump Street when he was thinner, and those are some of his highest grossing films. He's box office gold at either weight. His fanbase has remained extremely loyal since Superbad.
He's one of those people that lost such a large amount so quickly that it bounced back twice as fast.
That happened to me the first time I dropped a bunch of weight, but thankfully I've worked it back off and have been able to keep it off. It's hard tho.
