I can't believe we're gonna have to wait roughly four months for this. I might order the DVD with the book, just because I really want to support them.

Boring, basic and just "visual"...ugh, where is the story line, where is the interaction with the fans? They set themselves such a high standard during the bounty era and they have failed to reproduce it with kin and specially with blue.

It was starkly different from the 2010 concert indeed, however, I don't think that makes it bad.

it doesn't need a storyline. it's just a performance. sure it's different to the first concert and it wasn't what we were expecting, but that doesn't make it necessarily bad. it was just a simple show. i wasn't into it at first but then i got over it. i don't think everything they do has to be overly artistic. sometimes, they can just perform simply.

thats just my thoughts, though. i don't think this at all was bad or ruins anything else they've done. most of all I'm just glad they're still going

This. I think fans have come to expect WAY too much out of them. There's only so much they can do in an era, and only so much money they can pour into a project. They gave us beautiful, majestic and top-notch quality videos for every song to go with a beautiful, majestic and top-notch album during this entire era. Give them a break, they're still miles above the majority of the artists people stan for on this site. We need to accept that they might not be able to give us complex, perfectly thought out artistic media every single time they do something, and that's okay. Their repertoire speaks volumes as is.

Anyway, Joanna sounds great here. I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I like what I've seen so far.

That's what I thought. They could release it digitally now as there's still a bit of a hype around the concert and then just put out the physical copies along with the books later on. On the other hand, there's already a .zip file with the audio floating around anyway, so it doesn't make much of a difference, I guess.

A digital release within a week after the concert would be really smart of them, but they don't seem to be too focused on money anyways.

Watching "In Concert" right now, I prefer CIB really. I guess it might be because BLUE is my favourite album and bounty comes 3rd It's an amazing production though (but it doesn't even seem like live vocals??)

So I could just rip this instead of waiting for September?
