Poor Anaconda. It was the only one of these huge streaming hits not to go #1 on the Hot 100

Yes. I know "Take Your Time" keeps increasing in streams and leads the Country Streaming Chart for yet another week with 2.7 million streams. This number of streams would have put the song way up in the 30s not that long ago. But so far TYT has yet to reach either the On Demand or overall Streaming Charts, both of which are 50 positions, even though Hunt leads by a significant margin at the Country format.

Here is a list of the biggest weekly streaming sums (for the US). These figures include both video (YouTube/VEVO, etc.) and OnDemand (Spotify, Rhapsody, etc.) streams. Keep in mind that the Billboard Streaming Songs chart is just a bit over two years old, so many of these songs will exit over time as streaming grows. As of this posting, only seven songs occupy these spots.
Weekly Sum, "Song," Artist(s), Chart Date
103 million, " Harlem Shake," Baauer, March 2, 2013

Yeah and "Take Your Time" still fell short of the Top 50 Streaming! And I really don't understand why so many fans beyond the Country base are downloading "Girl Crush" but not streaming it! Hopefully both songs will get there with some crossover airplay. Country fans aren't quite as bad as Active Rock fans, who won't even download, much less stream current format hits; but Country isn't where it could be either.

Look at how many weeks "Uptown Funk" had huge streaming numbers! I could say something, but I don't feel like starting trouble.
