After her marathon bender on Sunday night we half-expected Beyonce to be cowering in the wings with a sick bucket at her gig at London's O2.
How wrong we were. The Crazy In Love singer gave a sizzling show - aimed at her hubby Jay-Z who was perched on the sound deck centre stage.
Grinding and bouncing away like a Duracell bunny, the male dancers felt a bit surplus to requirements.
An onlooker said: "When she was dropped down by a harness to the stage right in front of Jay his face lit up. She kept looking over and giving him a smile. And when the dancers got hold of her he covered his face.
"He was furiously texting her just before she headed off stage for a costume change then when she belted out At Last - with pictures of Barack Obama behind her - he started pumping his arm in the air, he looked so proud."
Our spy went on: "Beyonce must have been shattered but after that she went on to host her sister Solange's show at the afterparty. And she stayed backstage flirting with Jay until 3am."
Alice Jones: It was enough to make Beyoncé's halo slip.

At 10.40pm on Monday night, Beyoncé sent me and 20,000 other adoring fans into the night singing the chorus of "Halo". At 11.40pm, still stuck in an unmoving taxi in a desolate, rainy coach park behind the O2, the words coming out of my mouth were considerably less angelic. Having sprung out of my seat the second Beyoncé left the stage, I didn't get home to Brixton until after 1am, tired and some £45 the poorer. http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion...p-1691217.html
According to a press release from her label, the singer will set aside 2,000 seats for each date on her forthcoming North American tour at a discounted price of $20. The tour is in support of her recent I Am ... Sasha Fierce LP.
After already selling 1,000 tickets per show for the special low price, the last 1,000 discounted seats for each show will be made available to the public on Friday through Ticketmaster (with the exception of the artist's four-night residency at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas).
*dead* at her stage "terrible". britney did all that ****** stage to cover her lack of talent (zero cuz she dun have any) and so that she can have an excuse to walk around the stage while waving her hands repetitively till the end of the show. multiple talents like beyonce, pink, michael all doesn't need big huge production stage to rely and give them a hell of a show cuz they have talents to make up for it.
beyonce "halo" and she came down to see her fans. she cares about her fans so much, she wants to pleased all of them. lol.
