I haven't seen a Spiderman movie since 2002, and I probably won't bother to see this one, but why would Asa Butterfield be a bad choice? Isn't Peter Parker supposed to be some nondescript looking, basic, white boy from Queens? I mean, isn't that the whole point? Isn't Peter Parker supposed to be an even more inconspicuous civilian than Clark Kent? I don't understand the objections. Is it that you want a heartthrob?
