It's kind of straight forward.
The beginning Heidi feels some sort of persuasion between Pedro. Which means 'Pedro, I will always love you forever no matter what.' situation.
Then when Heidi finds out that he's cheating on some chick but the director didn't put an emphasis on it. She burns the house.
Then when Heidi opens the white sheet that includes a rock with a blood stain basically means Pedro killed somebody.
That's what I assume. Your right, it's so vague but it's based on the scenes I saw.
