I think Demi has always had the potential to be better than Ariana. During the Unbroken era, I think she was better. Ariana has amazing technique but not a ton of personality/soul in her voice. Demi can be shouty, and her vibrato is a bit warbly sometimes, but she's got a lot of soul and emotes super well. They both have a big range. If Demi can master her technique, she'll be better IMO.

Thank You..despite some of her technical issues I truly think demi is a FORMIDABLE vocalist especially in this current season of popular music.. I'm not necessarily a fan but I truly enjoy great voices and Demi is one of them.. she's still a bit undercooked (something time and experience will fix) but it's almost chilling the amount of potential she has, I just hope she lives up to it..she's definitely on the right path.
OT: I think this is a good indication that this upcoming era has the potential to be one of her best (even surpassing the beloved Unbroken Era -for vocal fiends-) yet. Demi's vibrato was incredibly underdeveloped during that time, now her vibrato is evenly spaced,natural and placed correctly in almost all her notes. Also, her vocal runs are MUCH better, she's acquired more agility and her pitch is improving drastically. Fans preferred Unbroken as opposed to others because of vocal quality and her high belting capabilities during that era, but TODAY she's starting to match that era and better..

She is far from playing at clubs sis those are bigger than theaters (2 were arenas) and those were in Australia/NZ
But seriously even if she was playing at clubs I don't see any problem at least she is able to tour
