Thank god they're stripping Dany's ADWD storyline down. MINOR BOOK SPOILERS:
She is so intolerable in that book. And this is coming from a massive fan of hers. In ADWD she comes across as a lovestruck delusional moron who makes mistake after mistake. All she does is pine after / punish Daario, fail at taming her dragons, and suffer attacks from the Harpy's.
I get that they're trying to show how "hard" it is to rule, but it was basically character assassination. Show Dany is still kind of dumb, but at least Daario remains likable
unlike in the book
and she doesn't come across as a complete idiot.
I'm liking Sansa's new storyline, Tyrion's storyline (though I still think Jorah is a loser), all the stuff in King's Landing, and of course Dorne (Book 4 spoiler:
though I'm still beyond pissed that they cut Arianne
.) The Wall is so ****ing boring though. Aside from Jon chopping off Slynt's head and Melisandre, nothing interesting ever happens there.
Margaery is slaying the hardest this season so far. Her takedown of Cersei ("Should I call you Queen Mother or Queen Dowager?") was epic. She better get
Loras out of jail.
Tommen is likable but useless.
Oh, and I need the Sparrows and the Sons of the Harpy dead. They're so annoying.
