Digital media is everywhere and most stores now only carry certain items mostly new releases and things that aren't there you have to get online. I think physical media is amazing and having a physical copy of something in your hands makes it so worth it. Do you think CD's DVD's and Blu-ray's are still needed or is ordering a movie music or game online better?
I buy physical CD's because it turns into sort of "collective" item where I own all my faves CD's. I'm sure people feel that way about movies and video games as well.
Anyone who listens to them should know about the "loud wars" . It's basically labels upping the volume of music, where the CD becomes slightly distorted losing its quality. All CDs do this today.
People still buy Blu Ray because you're not in a situation where streaming is always there's and it's better quality than many downloads.
Yes, especially for movies. If you're a big movie fan like me it's not realistic to have your whole library on your computer as it would be how many terabytes I also like owning something physical, buying digital music for that price doesn't interest me. (unless the price is right )

I feel the same way. I'm a big movie collector and it would suck to have to do that. Movies that are higher quality will eat up your hard drive.
I know that's another reason (forgot to add) I know that some stores like Gamestop are beginning one of these days to stop selling media and i hope that never happens.
