I'll never understand why people have a problem with music in different languages. I can't even imagine my enjoyment of sound being limited in such a way. I mean, if you can enjoy instrumental music, or even instrumental sections of music, then you should be able to treat a foreign voice as just another instrument.

My favorite band is Sigur Rós. They sing in a made-up language called hopelandic. What they sing is literally giberrish to me but all seven of their studio albums and their godly productions slay my entire existence.

Its harder to connect to the music if u don't know the language imo. I agree though.
Britney's persona as a pop star detatched from reality plays so well into the lyrics it's almost frightening. I imagine it as being the first time has gone to a diner in years and no one recognizes her, until the end ("I feel someone watching, and so I raise my head"). It just adds another layer to the song the original cannot compare with.
